Schools often require an IQ test in order to determine a child's eligibility for advanced placement, IB (International Baccalaureate) programs, and other excellarated courses.

IQ tests measure a person's ability to learn.  Achievement tests are used along with IQ tests to determine if there is a gap between what a person is able to learn and what they have learned.  This can assist us to determine if a child has a learning disability, which will enable us to get your child the extra assistance they may need to succeed.
